CM-AVM

Capillary Malformation-Arteriovenous Malformation Syndrome.  A rare disorder involving small blood vessels (capillaries), usually of the face and limbs.  These lesions are typically 1-2 cm in diameter and multiple.  There can also be high-flow AVMs in the skin, muscle, bone and brain in this condition. These AVMs can result in bleeding, heart failure and neurologic deficits.
