Frequency of Office Visits
- Frequency of office visits: The patient should return for an office visit 1 week after surgery and then at 2 months. Thereafter, if the patient is younger than 5 years of age, a visit should occur every 6 months, and if the patient is 1 year of age or older, a visit should occur once a year.
Frequency of Imaging
- Frequency of imaging: No imaging is needed unless symptoms are not resolved.
Other Investigations Required
- Other investigations required: Follow-up urodynamic studies are performed at 1 year unless clear improvement occurs in the preoperative symptoms.
