Adrián Cáceres, MD, is a Clinical Professor at the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Costa Rica and is the Director of the Brain Tumor Clinic at the National Children’s Hospital of Costa Rica (Adrián Cáceres).
Adrián Cáceres has held positions as publications chair of the Costa Rica Neurological Sciences Association and has served as the Communications Chairman of the International Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery. He has been reviewer and editor for the journal Child’s Nervous System and is currently the Infections Section Editor for the ISPN Guide to Pediatric Neurosurgery.
Dr. Cáceres has been invited lecturer for the American Society of Pediatric Neurosurgeons, The Central American and Caribbean Oncohematological Association, The Annual Basic and Advanced course in Neuroendoscopy held in Naples, Italy, the Neuroendoscopy week in Homburg, Germany, and the Hospital Infantil de México. He has spoken at regional, national, and international scientific conferences in addition to participating as an instructor at national and international continuing educational courses for physicians on pediatric neurosurgical topics.
