[KK1]Add link?Douglas Brockmeyer, MD, is a Professor of Neurosurgery and Chief for the Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery at the University of Utah/Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah (Douglas Brockmeyer).

Dr. Brockmeyer is the Surgical Director of the Children’s Brain and Spine Center at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City. Doug is a member of the American Academy of Neurological Surgeons, a Director for the Accreditation Council for Pediatric Neurosurgery Fellowships, an Executive Board Member for the Chiari and Syringomyelia Foundation, an Executive Committee Member for the American Academy of Pediatric’s Section on Neurosurgery, and the Founder of the Pediatric Craniocervical Society.

Dr. Brockmeyer is a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Neurosurgery–Pediatrics and is or has been an editor for Pediatric Neurosurgery, Neurosurgical Focus in Pediatric Cervical Spine, Neurosurgery Clinics of North America Pediatric Spine Disorders, and section editor for Neurosurgery. He is a former Section Editor of Spinal Diseases and Anomalies for the ISPN Guide to Pediatric Neurosurgery. Dr. Brockmeyer has authored 89 peer-reviewed journal articles, 20 book chapters, and 1 book on Advanced Pediatric Craniocervical Surgery. Dr. Brockmeyer has given numerous local, regional, and national lectures. He has been a visiting Professor at multiple institutions, most recently at the William Coxe Lecturer at Washington University in St. Louis, Boston Children’s Hospital, New York University Medical Center, Stanford University Medical Center, University of Michigan Medical Center, Connecticut Children’s Hospital, and University of California at San Francisco Medical Center. Doug has given multiple international lectures, including two for the Japan Society of Pediatric Neurosurgeons, one for the Madurai Neurological Academy, two for the Dutch Spine Society, and one in Cartagena, Columbia, for the Latin American Congress in Pediatric Neurosurgery.[KK1]
